OHIO, KENTUCKY, INDIANA, FLORIDA
Max Term: 24 – 36 Months
Best Plan: Enhanced PPO plans, 100% co insurance. Once your reach your deductible plan pays 100%, which also serves as your out of pocket maximum. It also has a $50 co pay for urgent care.
Tips: When selecting short term coverage, choose two 12-month terms or the renewable option with 2 renewals. Considering adding a Plan Enhancer, this provides you additional coverage to lower your deductible for an accident or hospital stay.

United Healthcare
As the largest health insurer in the United States, all of UHC’s plans include access to the very large United Choice Network of doctors, hospitals and facilities. This also provides you access to their negotiated rates, providing you some of the lowest medical costs available.
OHIO
Max Term: 360 Days
Best Plan: Short Term Medical Plus Elite A, this provides you a simple plan that has a deductible, then the plan pays 100%. The deductible also serves as your out of pocket cap for medical expenses, with $2.0 million in annual coverage. It also has a $75 co pay for Urgent Care.
Tips: Be sure to select he maximum number of days for the plan (360).

Max Term: Three (3) years
Best Plan: Tri Term Co Pay Select Max, this provides you a plan good for 3 years and also includes doctor and RX co pays with $2.0 million in annual coverage.
Pivot Health
Pivot offers a variety of Short Term Medical plans that feature an open network, you can go to any doctor, hospital or facility and be covered with their plans.

Max Term: 2 years (2 x 364 Days)
Best Plan: The Choice Plans offers the best overall value, good for up to 2 years with $1.0 million of coverage each year. It is one of the best priced plans in the market. The Deluxe Plan offers more benefits, including prescription coverage, the only plan that offers this to the full policy limit.
Tips: Be sure to select the max coverage of $1.0 million per year, and add the second year to the plan as it does not cost much more.
INDIANA, MISSOURI
Max Term: 1 Year (2 x 180 days)
Best Plan: The Choice Plans offers the best overall value, good for up to 2 years with $1.0 million of coverage each year. It is one of the best priced plans in the market. The Deluxe Plan offers more benefits, include prescription coverage.

Best Plan: Connect STM is a good short term plan that provides extensive coverage for medical expenses. Connect Plus also provide coverage of up to $25,000 per team for pre-existing conditions, the only plan that has that benefit.
